We visited the Times Square Shopping Complex often during our 5 day holiday. The centre is located opposite our hotel and when we had some spare time we went to the upper levels of this large building. It was here that we found the Theme Park which caters for children and young adults far younger than us.
The Theme Park looked very good from where we were.

This twin tower building contains a luxury hotel and one thousand shops in the other tower.
The photo is taken from our hotel elevator (Melia Hotel) and shows the luxury hotel tower.
We visited the shopping centre often during our stay as it was directly opposite our hotel and we used the monorail station walkway to access the building. We mainly used the centre for money changer, restaurants and cafes, chemist and general browsing.
The shopping centre tower is also the home for entertainment attractions such as Asia's largest indoor theme park, Berjaya Times Square Theme Park (formerly Cosmo’s World Theme Park). We walked past some of the entertainment attractions but did not enter.

We stayed in a small budget hotel right behind Times Square, so this shopping mall became our preferred place for several goods. Debenhams for books, some of the usual chains for a quick coffee and the supermarket in the basement for daily goods such as snacks, water and Guinness. Even though I am not a great shopper, I was impressed by the size of this place. It is one of the world's largest shopping malls (indeed, it shared the title of the world's largest with a Chinese one not long time ago). The building is the 5th largest in the world by ground floor and the largest constructed in just one single phase.
For shoppers, it should be noticed that this place has 10 floors of shops with more than 1000 shops. Further things worth to mention are a 3D IMAX cinema, a 4-star-hotel and an indoor theme park (which is the largest of its kind in Malaysia).

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf - a chain that was a hit on California beaches is now available in Malaysia and Singapore. Its casual ambiance is perfect for a coffee break, tea in the afternoon or a great breakfast.
They really have a great selection of breakfast sets that range from RM9.00-RM10.95. My personal favourites are the Eggs Ben Set (1 egg, slice of turkey ham on toasted bread, topped with delicious eggs benedict sauce. Small serving of Fruit compote on the side) and the Salmon Scramble Set (toasted bread, topped with eggs scrambled with diced smoked salmon)
The Breakfast Sets comes with unlimited refills of Coffee or Tea until 11 am!
The Coffee Bean is not just a cafe-it is also a cool place for people watching.
Update: As of 1 Jan 2005, they have added a muffin set and scone set for breakfast. Again, it comes with unlimited coffee or tea before 11 am or you could have it changed to hot chocolate for an extra RM3.50. A great choice if you don't like coffee.
Updated-Dec 08
The menu for breakfast is still the same but at some outlets the price can go as high as RM13.50 for a breakfast set.
Apart from the breakfast, they have a very good beef pot pie (not at all outlets), bagel with sour cream (around RM13 for a set with a great cuppa coffee) and spicy chicken puff - approx RM7.90.
If you are in KL, apart from this outlet at Crown Regency, other outlets nearby are within KLCC shopping mall, Pavilion Mall-el-fresco area on street Level, and Sg Wang Plaza/Bukit Bintang area.

Situated between Lebuh Pasar Besar and Lebuh Ampang, Market Square refers to the spot once owned by Yap Ah Loy, headman of the Chinese community. Just a short walk from the Central Market, Jalan Hang Kasturi used to be the spot for provisions such as dried fish and preserved vegetables. Many of the dried goods stores here can still be found today. The pre-war shophouses are mostly of Neo - Classical style.

CAN BE GIVEN A MISS DEFINITELY. nothing spectacular about this factory except the way they sweet talk you into buying ok chocolates with lots of variety for more.well the irony is that the best chocolates you get are always in duty free correct me if im wrong.even the chocolate shop at the outside lobby of KLIA airport sells them for higher rates by sweet talking you.
THE WAY OUT. is to buy the smallest of packs.count the number of people you wanna gift chocolates and be very discreet how they bill you.
rather than gifting choclates the novelties or fakes in chinatown like watches and keychains are better.
For the past three years, these roads, located in the quieter parts off Jalan Imbi and Jalan Bukit Bintang, have been slowly shaping into a chocolate district. It all began in 2003, when the first chocolate shop, Cocoa Boutique, opened, selling a variety of local chocolates. Also under the same umbrella are Chocolate Gallery Malaysia in Jalan Inai and Cocoa Boutique outlets in Georgetown, Penang and Gohtong Jaya, Genting Highlands.
Beryl’s occupies an 80-year-old bungalow, which is attractive for its original old-fashioned tiles and pillars that are a pleasing contrast to the colourful chocolate products on the shelves.

If you ever try to make a connection from the KL Sentral main terminal to KL Sentral monorail station, you will need to walk a least 5 or 6 minutes to get between above destination. But what is interesting about it, your connection will be compliment with mini markets and stalls selling crafts and savories just to attract tourist. Not exactly the same as covenience store like what you find most on subway or underground.
