    Batu Caves

These limestone caves are 7 miles out of the city Kuala Lumpur and are the sacred place for the Hindus in Malaysia. The place looks wonderful from the outside but after climbing 272 steps to the top we were very dissapointed at the state of the caves which were littered with all kinds of rubbish everywhere that monkeys were fossicking in and scaffolding everywhere. The caves were bare. The only thing of interest were the monkeys, but beware these can turn very nasty as I found out.
Don't waste your time climbing all the steps.Just take photos from the bottom it looks much nicer.

Unique Suggestions: Visit the couple of shops or stalls there at ground level and just take photos from there.
