If you want to experience something different like a ferry boat ride to a shopping mall. Then try to take a water taxi to Mines Shopping Mall for a few Ringgit. The ride took only a couple of minutes but it's worth your penny. Alternatively, you can just walk for a couple of minutes to the mall from KTM Komuter Serdang Station.

Most of Malaysia's seaports are intended for cargo ships. Penang is the main harbor for cruise liners operated by Seabourn Cruise, Crystal Cruises, and Windstar Cruises. Port Klang (for Kuala Lumpur) also handles cruise ships. Travelers can take the high-speed ferry to Penang from Sumatra in Indonesia.
