This train has large compartments for luggagge, the seats are similar to seat's plane but in two ways with a small table next to the big window and several tv with publicity of the city.
Is very comfortable and safe, almost didn't feel the trip, excellent choice, only 28 minutes without traffic, was just great. (70 RM round trip)

Checking your bags through at KL Sentral

We thought we would check our bags in with Malaysia Air check in at KL Sentral. The idea is you check your bags through and can then get on the train to the airport. But you can checkin 12 hours before the flight. We were on a late night flight so we thought we could off load the bags and be free for the day. We were not sure if we would catch a cab or the train to the airport. Guess what? Malaysia Air made up our minds for us. You can not check your bags through UNLESS you have first bought a train ticket. What the heck does it matter how it get to the airport? I could not get to the Malaysia Air check in desk without a train ticket. What difference is it to Malaysia Air how you get to the airport anyway? I wrote to Malaysia Air to ask and they did not reply. Bring on JETSTAR, Sydney to Kuala Lumpur starting September 2007!

KLiA Express vs Airport Limos

If you just have a few bags, the KLiA Express (RM35 one way) is the fastest and most comfortable way to get to the city (28 minutes?).

They have uniformed porters that will help you carry your bags into the train.
Give them RM10 and they will actually sometimes ride with your luggage all the way to KL Sentral station (where the new Hilton and Le Meridian Hotels are) in KL and then help you unload your luggage!

You can also check in your luggage at KL Sentral station for your flight back 2 hours before departure if you use Malaysian Airlines then just hop on the KLiA express to the airport when its time.

Sometimes during the travel fairs such as MATTA at PWTC they have promotional booths where if you buy a ticket they give you one free so buy several tickets (they are valid for 6 months) and this will save quite a bit of money

However if you have tons of luggage then it is advisable to use the airport limo.

On the way from KLIA to KL

This was, as far as i know, one of only 2 ways to get from KLIA to KL city. And it seems they have made full use of that fact as the charge for a 28 minute train ride cost RM35/-, or RM70/- for a return ticket (the other way, of course, was by cab, and they also quote ridiculous rates, if you don't go by the metre).
It was quite scenic though, as you could see (i think) Putrajaya, the administrative capital and plantations.
But a word of advice is, since there's no savings in buying the return ticket, you might as well just grab the one-way one, and maybe on the way back from KL, you could find a cheaper cab?
Overall though, the frequency was every 15 minutes during peak hours (and 20 for off peak) and the train ride was quite a clean and pleasant one. Also, there seems to be empty seats even during peak hours, so, that was convenient!

This is the quickest way that will get you from KLIA to the KL Sentral where you can continue your way to the centre with Monorail.
