Yes, this is the one thing I have noticed in the city of Kuala Lumpur. There is plenty of motorcycle on the road. Many times during my tour, I have seen this means of transportation and mind you they are always in front waiting for the green light.
I have taken a couple of pictures of the motorcyle while waiting for the Go signal. It is a nice scene but I cannot recommend you to use motorbikes while you are vacationing in KL and especially if you are a touring the country even with a local. Use a tour bus instead!

I found that lots of tourist looking for motorbike rental in KL.
But, as I know, that's no such a service in KL, exspecially in center of this city.
So... Please don't walk into motorbike shop and ask for rental service & don't ask the shopkeeper : why?
