Souq Putrajaya: Bazaar style shopping
Souq is an Arabian word thats is used to describe a market place, bazaar or a street of small stalls. As its name suggest, Souq Putrajaya operates as a bazaar style shopping place. This business district provides an avenue for shopkeepers to exchange or sell their goods that range from domestic items to light home-based industry such as jewellery, pottery and fabrics.
Souq Putrajaya is located at the lower level of Masjid Putra and above Selera Putra.

Alamanda Putrajaya is a huge shopping complex with some similarities to Suria KLCC or Mid Valley Megamall.
The major tenants are Carrefour hyper market which occupies the end of Northern Mall and Parkson Grand that occupies the Eastern Mall.
A number of branded items also have their specific outlets here.
If you are not for shopping, have a game or two at the ARL Bowling Centre.
What to pay: Depends on what u went for. U can pay as lows as RM5 (maybe less...) up to thousands. Do check out for info on the sale period on its website.

Alamanda: The First and Biggest Shopping Mall in Putrajaya
Alamanda is Putrajaya's first shopping centre. The Alamanda Putrajaya mall is located in Precint 1 and opened in end August 2004.
The shopping centre have a variety of shops, restaurants, bowling alleys, movie theatres and a food court. A unique feature is that it is designed with two levels to allow even distribution and smooth flow of shoppers within the premises.
