Giravaru tourist resort is well located with easy access to 20 dive sites. Some of them are between the most famous dive sites among experienced scuba divers of the world. The dive school in Giravaru is operated by Jutta and Giovanni and is called "planeta Divers". The dive school offers PADI training and certification.
Diving the Maldivian waters is one of the best underwater experiences a diver can have. The variety and number of brightly colored reef fish and exotic marine life that populates the water's depths are simply unforgettable.
Equipment: In case you have no scuba diving gear with you then it could be simply obtained on rent from resort. Charges would be a but high but deal is not that bad!!

There are many water sports facilities available at this resort and wind surfing is one of them.
Equipment: Its recommended to bring your surfing gear with you. If you fly to Maldives with Emirates airline then you would get free 10 KG additional allownce to carry your water sports equipment.
You can also buy water sports equipment from capital city Maale. Otherwise you may rent it out at nominal charges from this resort.

Well you can enjoy Fishing, Billiards, Canoeing, Sailing, Jet Ski, Night Diving, Night Fishing, Scuba Diving, Snorkeling, Surfing, Water Skiing and Windsurfing at Giravaru resort. Apart from that, you can also enjoy at their beautiful pool or walk around the lovely beach.
Equipment: Sports gear is available at resort on rent by paying nominal charges. But nothing could be better if you have your own gear with you.
