Maldives is famous for its coral reefs and marine life. Try snorkeling in Giravaru, its simply fun. Do not worry to see sharks even, they would not say you any thing. All you have to do is just not to tease them!
There is a diving school in the resort if you wana learn diving n snorkeling. So meet the locals of underwater world in Giravaru and enjoy :-)

Diving in the Maldives is a must - Dives mainly include drift dives which makes it easier. There is also a wide variety of fish and easy to access. Manta Rays are probably the reason most people would want to dive here. The staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome. Their local knowledge of the dive sites is very good and during dives showed us many rare species. They also provide instruction at various level in the PADI program.

You should not miss views of sunset any where in Maldives. Like rest of the country, sunset at Giravaru is also something a must see. Its so romantic ;-)
