Transportation by speed boat just take 15 minutes and cost $75 ( one way) for individual traveler. Many resorts including Giravaru have their own speed boats for airport / resort transfers. Guests are usually supposed to pay the tranfer charges.

There are 2 types of transportation that is available - if you are looking for speed then there is the High Speed Boat or alternatively you can use the local transport called a Dhoanis which travels at about 8 miles and hour. The latter is obviously considerably cheaper. Check with your travel agent before you leave to the type of transport. Also remember that the weather does get rough and the Dhoanis can be a very rough ride.

Dhoni is a local motor boat. You may use it for transportation from airport to Giravaru resort which will take around 45 minutes. For individual transfers charges are $50.
