Address: Giravaru Tourist Resort, North Maale' Attol
All resorts in Maldives have handicraft and souvenirs shops. You can also find handicrafts in this Giravaru resort but i would recommend you not to buy them from there. Instead pay a visit to capital island Maale and go to handicrafts market which was perviously known as Singapore bazaar. In Maale, you would get same handicrafts at very reasonable rates as compared to resorts
What to buy: You have to bargain in Maale to buy handicrafts and souvenirs for your loved ones. Pay what you think is worth for the product you plan to buy.

Luggage and bags: Back packs are ideal. Do not bring too much luggage. Keep this factor in mind that all transportation is through motor or speed boat.
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Bring beach sandals. Shorts and t-shirts are also required.
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Bring your medicines with you on the safe side. Sun burn cream is a must. It would be better if you bring toiletries with you. Otherwise you may have to go Maale to buy them.
Photo Equipment: Its recommend to bring digital cameras. Still camera are good too but films are very expensive. For under water photos you can rent special cameras from your resort.
Miscellaneous: Sun glasses and hat are must so do not forget to bring them.
