Nightlife is not really a hit in Male. Being the Maldives an Islamic country no alcohol is sold, and as far as I know no nightclub is to be found on the island. So what do people do for fun? They go to the Luna park, of course, and enjoy rides on the few merry-go-rounds. true, it doesn't sound much fun to me, but it sunds healthy at least.
Dress Code: it's an islamic country. if you're a woman dont wear anything too revealing

They have a official concert every Friday and it's wonderful. Being a town where people are usually out till midnight, there's really nothing much to do besides shopping and walking by the water. On Friday is when you get to attend free concert by local artistes and it's fun place to mingle with the locals.
Dress Code: Avoid shorts if possible.
