The best thing you can do is sitting in a place near the water and have a look at all the fishes that come near the shore…they are so many and so beautiful and you can’t see a light in the distance and the only sound you hear is the wind passing through the palms…what a romantic I am sometimes!
THE STAFF ON THE ISLAND TRIED VERY HARD TO PROVIDE FUN AND GAMES AND ENTERTAINMENT FOR ALL THE GUESTS, HOWEVER IF YOU WANTED TO BE LEFT ALONE TO SIT ON YOUR FAVOURITE EASY CHAIRS AND WATCH THE MOON DANCE ON THE OCEAN YOU WOULDN'T BE HASSLED INTO PARTICIPATING. SHORTS,SHIRTS OR SARONGS. LADIES WERE ASKED NOT TO WEAR (JUST BIKINIS) AT NIGHTTIME
There is always a wonderful mix of people who go here, people from all around the world. The majority of the tourists are from England or Germany and are travelling on 'all-inclusive' in the bar. Therefore this bar can be quite noisy and full of life. Something always happens here with a lot of activities and competitions. This open-air disco is just a few steps away from the sea. A disco on the beach, right next to the Dhoni Bar so you can cool off with a refreshing cocktail in between some energetic dancing. Open every night of the week, the disco is nearly always full, and guests from the other resorts frequently drop by to join in. There's always a great gang of friendly, fun-loving people to meet. If you prefer a calmer place you should consider The Cottage Club or Blue Lagoon. Anything, everything or nothing!!!
Some form of entertainment most nights..movies, disco live bands etc..try the Dhoni bar and the Asian Wok.....both right on the beach..just sit with your drinks and soak up the scenery and the serenity. what dress code!!! bare feet please..just shorts and t-shirts will do
there is no night life, ther only is t one ore few more bars with a very realxed athmosphere.If you are looking for night life like in ibiza or play del carmen, you are terribly wrong in the maldives.The best night activity is a very natural one......
Well the is a live band 3-4 nights a week, and there is crab racing on Friday nights, but otherwise just sitting in the bar out in the open looking for shooting stars and seeing fishies swimming below you are all you need! Very very casual.
DINING OUTDining out has another meaning here in Maldives. Your hotel is the only choice you have, as each island uses to have just one, so you have to choose between the Italian Restaurant and the Polynesian one!The ones I visited in Laguna Beach Resort were cozy and nice, but you certainly get tired of dining every single night in the same romatic dam**d place!!
There isn't a lot of nightlife on Paradise Island but what there is of it, i.e. occassional karaoke and crab racing, it is mainly at Paradise Bar. You must wear formal dress to all meals and public places.
Ellaidhoo Sports Center bar or the Dhoara BarBeautiful comfortable chairs with big screen tv. The sports center also offers Aerobics, Spinning sauna and jacuzzi, billards, squash, tennis and table soccer. Anything goes.
If you're looking for nightlife, forget the Maldives. The vast majority of tourists here are qualified divers or honeymooners.The only entertainment provided is a once a week 'disco' and this is usually over by midnight as everyone's gone to bed!!Most people just sat chatting, reading or playing cards. It's an early to bed, early to rise kinda place. Dress code on the islands we visited was smart casual. Just take clothes you'll be cool in, it gets very humid in the evenings.
