Don't miss the fresh seafood!

by myriam_c

Full Moon Resort has various restaurants: Full Moon: the main restaurant with a huge buffet for breakfast, set menu for lunch (for guests staying in full board) and buffet or set menu for dinner. Atoll Grill: à la carte grill restaurant (open air) next to the beach, sometimes meat on the menu, sometimes fish. Casa Luna: à la carte restaurant with Italian/Mediterranean specialties. Sawasdee: à la carte Thai restaurant. Sandcoast Café: for snacks.

AS WITH MOST OF THE ISLANDS IN...

by AGHIOS

AS WITH MOST OF THE ISLANDS IN THE MALDIVES, THERE IS ONLY ONE RESTAURANT WHICH SERVES BREAKFAST LUNCH AND DINNER, BUT WITH EVERY COURSE THE RESTAURANT LOOKS DIFFERENT AS THEY MOVE THE TABLES AROUND AND CHANGE THE CLOTHS FOR DIFFERENT COLOURS ETCYOU HAVE THE SAME WAITER WITH YOU DURING YOUR WHOLE STAY, WHICH IS REALLY HELPFUL AS YOUR FAVORITE DRINK OR BOTTLE OF WINE IS WAITING FOR YOU ON YOUR TABLE WHEN YOU ARRIVE, AND AS IT IS ALL INCLUSIVE YOU NEVER HAVE TO THINK ABOUT (AM I GETTING RIPPED OFF HERE) HAS TO BE THE FISH DISHES, AS EVERYTHING YOU EAT HAS BEEN CAUGHT THAT MORNING. ALSO THEY HAVE A BIG LOBSTER TANK WHERE YOU CAN CHOOSE YOUR OWN LOBSTER

There is a Thai Restaurant on...

by Loewen

There is a Thai Restaurant on the island of Kuramathi that is SUPERB!!! This restaurant is very populat and if you are travelling in a group you might need to book a table in advance. You will find excellent service here and you should also tip the waiters if you are satisfied. They have very low wages... Don't miss their Tom Kah Gai soup or their jumbo prawns with garlic. Nowhere around the world you find this soup and these prawns more tasteful! Their buffé is also memorable.

There is no favourite...

There is no favourite restaurant, Each island has got one ore at max. three restaurant. The food ist everywhere international in the maldives, so you cannot choose an island because of the restaurant. You would better chosse your island, because of the house reef, and of its size an resorts rooms.you will eat in the middle pf the idian ocean, that's all

most of the time, you'll have to eat at the resort you staying at.. those in kanuhura were delicious.. and we get great view to accompany the meals.. in town, you'll have more choices.. the one a short walk away from the international airport is pretty good..it's quite cheap.. very local.. and yummy! there's this food that i've only tasted in maldives.. it's this pancake like thingy with lots of tuna and onion in it.. very simple but delicious..

I was on Meeru...and all of the restaurant were fine. Only in the beachbar the service was very slow. The buffets in the main restaurant were incredibly good.I wouldn't know where to start...... Everything... I really can not choose. Of course the best meal I had was on the beach by Full-Moon light

You have to use the resturants...

by colin00

You have to use the resturants at the resorts, but the Ari Beach Water Village one is just fine and had a good selection at the buffet at all times. The best foods are the local dishes, such as curries. You should also (if you're at this resort) try eating lunch in the bar where they offer tuna sandwiches, etc, and the best 'French Fries' (chips to us Brits) in the world! They did a 'theme' night every night. You can also feed the fishes from the resturant! Actually my favorite food was fried eggs on toast for breakfast - cooked to order. The small steaks on BBQ night (Sundays) was also very good.

You don;t have much choice...

by colin00

You don;t have much choice here as you must use whatever is on your island resort. On the Taj Coral Reef was a fairly good one with a buffet service If you're not funny about that sort of thing you can get them to cook fish you have caught in the sea that evening. Fresh and lovely! Also make sure you try to 'local' food. Vegetarian curry style usually, and very nice.

all meals served in the buffet...

by vicki1982

all meals served in the buffet restaurant if you have booked all inclusive. You can dine in the Fish or Japanese Restaurants, or the Snack Bar for around £30 for two people for a two course meal. the waiters are very pleasant and will go out of their way to please you. multiple choice selections that are serve yourself and mostly consists of rice, chicken vegetables and thai food.

The dining hall at Elliadhoo...

by Divingmouse

The dining hall at Elliadhoo is open air very nice. Barbeque night and Maldivian night the food was excellent at the resort. The best meal I enjoy is the breakfast. At Elliadhoo they make fresh baked pastries for the morning. Yum Yum but watch out I gained weight.
