There are a few good souvenir gers located at the entrance gate to Yolyn Am, not far from the provincial capital of Dalanzadgad. They sell all kinds of souvenirs that you can find in the big State Department Store in Ulaanbaatar but at much lower prices.
At the top of the Flaming Cliffs are a line of tables full of crystals for sale that have been found here or nearby. I bought some and then found a smashed crystal on the floor nearby so had it for free!
