Fondest memory: The best thing with visiting Nepal was getting close to the Nepalese religious life. Nepal is the only official hindu state in the world, yet, the country is very tolerant. Most people, when asked if they are hindu or buddhist, will reply 'both' or just look at you. It is forbidden by law to try to change somebody's religion, you can convert if you want to, but no missioning and preaching!

Favorite thing: Look at Buddha's eyes. Boudhanath Stupa - this is an ancient stupa which is one of the biggest stupas in the world. Four pairs of eyes of Buddha look in four cardinal directions. They keep an eternal watch over the people and their deeds. Yours as well...

Favorite thing: check out the biggest stupa in the entire Valley (proclaimed as a World Heritage Site) - Boudhanath Stupa here in Kathmandu!!!!!!! . There are more than 45 Buddhist monasteries in this area alone. This major tourist attraction is not far from downtown Kathmandu.
