Favorite thing: Perched at an altitude of 7000 ft above sealevel, Nagarkot is in a windswept ridge which is very windy and cold in afternoon time. The winds blow fiercely in evening and it is noticeably cool than kathmandu which i really enjoyed it. It was freezing which is beyond description and can be experienced but can't be explanied easily. Do not forget to bring warm clothes like pullovers, sweaters, jackets or sleeping bags if you are staying in budget guesthouses. It is an experience that you won't easily forget.
Fondest memory: I was out there in the rooftop of Peaceful cottage & café du mont, Nagarkot Hillstation and it was freezing when i went out there. i was in the middle of nowhere and i could the international airport from the view point clearly with the lights sparkling down in the kathmandu valley like a diamond. Go and experience it . It is really worth a visit.
