Public Buses to Nagarkot are incredibly slow,incredibly cheap and tediously slow. The buses are really time-consuming and are always behind schedule. All in all, the buses to Nagarkot is always jam-packed with locals which can be really suffocating to any foreigners. It is a big no-no to any guests although it can a gruelling experience to you really want to experience the real Nepal. It will cost around Rs.18-20( Nepalese currency) to ride in local bus. Instead, i would recommend you to take a taxi from kathmandu which will cost around Rs. 1200-1500 to the resort of Peaceful cottage. Please call the resort directly for the trip.
