This is one of the older pubs in Thamel, I have been going there “Occasionally” since 1994 and it has always been popular !!
Right in the heart of Thamel, Just a couple of doors down from The Kathmandu Guest House and on the same side of the road.
Drinks are fairly priced and there is a large Selection of Cocktails for the Adventurous ;-)
There is also a Happy Hour if your budget is a bit tight !!

If you Plan visit Casino at night ,you may contact the hotel you are staying in ,if you are staying in 5 star hotel or 3 star hotel ,tell your hotel to provide car or bus for your trip to casino and back at night ,otherwise i will say do not go around at night time in Nepal ,because there is no night life in Nepal , don't go for night walk etc. after 10pm ,nowdays not very safe.

 Inside Firefly - Pokhara by PierreZA
A very nice bar in Kathmandu is the Buddha Bar in Thamel. It is a lovely place to relax, have a few drinks and meet some local people. They play good music, and gets very busy during week-ends.
A great bar in Pokhara is th Firefly. A new bar with live music and good food.
There are many dancclubs in Nepal, which provides entertainment for foreigners and locals alike. Dancers miming on Bollywood music seems to be the main attraction?
Restaurants close from 21h00 onwards.
There are many power cuts, which plays a role in the safety of certain areas at night. Theme: Other
