Favorite thing: What I like about Pokhara is its simple and idyllic life which is something refreshing for me coming from a busy modern city. It will be good to take a break in some place like this.
Favorite thing: Watch yourself on the tight turns while passing the mule trains. You could find yourself on the edge of a 800 ft cliff!
Favorite thing: The local kids are great! You may tire of them asking for candy, Pencil , pen but they are kids that don't have a whole lot.
The people are very friendly! The mountains are huge! The views are spectacular!!
Fondest memory: I always remember the kids and the mule trains.
Trekking is at the top of the list!
Fondest memory: The friendly people of Pokhara. They are always smiling. Learn a few phrases and you will be very popular. "Namaste" is the easiest and gets things started!
