Kilroy's: Western food at Kilroy's

Quite good food, even though it was Western style.

One of the things I do when travelling is avoiding the food I eat at home. Afterall, one of the reasons you travel, apart from experiencing different cultures and seeing different places, is to enjoy the local food.

Still, worth a visit.

Favorite Dish: I had Nepalese soup. Fantastic. Had the chicken house special with mushroom sauce. Magnificent. Finished with a weird bread and butter pudding (comment from my diary ... can't remember why I wrote this).

The setting is inviting - among shady trees - perfect on a hot day in the Kathmandu valley!

Favorite Dish: Banana Lassi - we had it for lunch.
