New Orleans: Not bad!

Nice little whole in the wall, loved by the tourist. Beer is cold, the power goes out every night so eat early. Very chilled scene. The food was average. The advertise a yak burger but they never have the meat available. If your in Thamel it a nice place to eat. Dont buy any weed or drugs from dealers in this area, cops are under cover, 50 feet away watching the dealers, you will get busted.

Favorite Dish: Chicken burger

This is another Old favourite of mine, Same street as the Kathmandu Guest House, Opposite side of the road and just a few metres up !!
The Food is Good, Often there is a Live Band playing, You can either sit inside or out depending on the weather and how you feel.
I have been going to this place for Over 10 years and I can say that it is consistently Good – Give it a try !!

This had the widest range of foods that I saw anywhere in Nepal and it all looked delicious. I have been here lots of times and will go back again! The place is lovely too and is included as a nightlife tip.

Favorite Dish: I loved the cajun chicken with Jambalaya.

NEW ORLEANS RESTAURANT AND BAR
We found this place unfortunately just during our last days here... but even though its already off season - it seems to be a happening place. Nice garden and as the name says a kind of Blues/Jazz ambiente. Very good.

Favorite Dish: Everything looks good here. Especially when you have been in Nepal for quite a while already and can't see any Daal Bhat anymore... this menu card gives you quite variety of interconti dishes.
