What I loved about this place was the relaxed atmosphere. There is a formal dining area at the front and then cushions and low Moroccan style seating at the back, a great place to come for dinner or a quick snack on the roof terrace.

Awesome decor, low tables, very clean - and a bit pricy by Kathmandu standards.
Favorite Dish: Some of the best cocktails I've had in Kathmandu! Some very strange looking, but tastier than some of the offerings served up around here! Also does terrific tandoori food.

The back room of the Third Eye restaurant.
Shoes off for this one! Low tables and floor cushions are the decor of choice here and it's pure luxury. It's not without a price though. For those of you who aren't especially flexible, knots and cramps will surely be an accompaniment to your meal. But what a price for luxury. Two steaks, an appetizer, drinks, two desserts (chocolate mousse was divine), a pot of coffee and three waiters providing constant service set us back almost exactly $20 for this outstanding dining experience.
