Saturday is market day and you can get everything from fruti, veg, live animals to cheap clothes. A good place to crash for a night and it has more variety food wise than the lodges on the way - highly recommend the bakeries!

Address: On a mountain
Namche Bazaar is situated one long days walk from Lukla on the trek toward Everest and has a spectacular setting on a hillside surrounded by mountains. Here you will find all those bits you forgot to buy in Kathmandu along with a bar and amazing bakery! There is also internet connection at the Yeti Airlines office. Head up over the ridge toward the Everest View Hotel for your first stunning view of Everest. There is plenty of accomodation, though some may be booked out to expedition groups.
