During the high season in Tengboche, the limited number of lodges struggles to cope with anywhere up to around 500 people looking for accomodation on any night.
If you need to have a bed for whatever reason, or just prefere to sleep in one, i would suggest you get there as early as possible. If you don't, you will end up in the dining rooms, on the floor, or maybe even in a woodshed??!!
The main season this applies to is probably october/november, but both autumn and spring seasons can be busy there.
