Go for fishing guyssss
Just 2 days after i arrived here, my friend ask me to follow him to this area called PHANDER VALLEY for fishing. He said TROUT FISH can be easily found there and the taste is good. So hmm......whenever anyone say about good food, i wana try them so we hire a car with a driver and went up to PHANDER VALLEY. Its taking 1.5 hours to GHIZER and about 3 hours to phander from GHIZER. winding road and bumpy roads and sometimes there are landslides in between the stretch then you will have to slow down. My friends's sister and niece vomitted and hving headache because they are not used to travel so far with such condition hahahah.Me? I am enjoying the ride...even though i was having stomachache and dierrhea...cool day. When we arrived, rent the fishing rods and start fishing. Its a unique experience, very different way of fishing..A MUST TRY. I slept on the grass by the riverbank because i was so sleepy hahahahah..till i hear some noise of the donkeys and goats nearby hahahaha What a great out door activities! You can ask someone to fry the fish there itself to taste it. Tasted good

Visit the buddha
This buddha symbol is carved on the mountain and it is so high up that one keeps on wondering how did they managed to climb up so high to do it. The road leading to this place is very narrow and full of bumps. Not well kept i would say, but once you arrived here then you will feel great with a river flowing nearby. Try come between July to Sept because the weather is great, not too hot, not too cold.

Biking in Chitral and north Pakistan
Things after the establishment of the new governement, in Pakistan, getting better and change in the situation's visible.
I’ve done the Jeep safaris and trekking trips, all over north Pakistan and Chitral, beginning from the south, but I don’t have any experience of doing any biking trip, but I’ve done something in Chitral and across Kalash valleys in past, on a bike.
There’re troubles in the south and somewhere in the tribal belt and the areas like Swat valley, where due to the ailing policies of a dictator’s brought a havoc on the country, masses and the whole region.
The areas, you’ve mentioned, absolutely safe, the trip’s mostly on the paved road but when you arrive in Ghizar so after Phandar, there’ll be a bumpy and dirt road, across Shandoor pass 3800 m, then it descends to laspur, Mastuj and after Buni, you’ll be again on the metalled road till Chitral town.
KE, a UK based agency, a very reputable company with very experienced tour leaders and the excellent skills of management,I've seen a group of trekkers, on Baltoro glacier, when I was coming back from K2 base camp with Swiss group.
Their inbound outfitters, Hindukush trails, runs by a Royal prince of Chitral, Sir Maqsood-ul-Mulk, so KE, does the business with this agency.
I post its contact here, so you can get the further details from them.

Naltar is probably one of the most spectacular Excursions in Pakistan, for those who like a little bit of adventure. The road to Naltar is pretty but Very dusty until the village of Nomal after Nomal you drive along the side of mountains and the climb is quite steep. At the upper Naltar you will see the beautiful meadows, the temperature is also very comfortable so one can really get a fancy escape from Gilgit`s heat. There is a small restaurant at the meadows which can serve a hot meal or you can carry Lunch boxes from Serena and have the restaurant make tea for you

Travel to north Pakistan
Bonjour mon ami,
If you're going to Gilgit-Baltistan, then you'll have to make it from Islamabad,Rawalpindi there are buses and coaches by NATCO, from Pir Wadhai bus station leave for Gilgit and there are flights from Islamabad airport to Skardu and Gilgit.
Ground realities are different from the spicy media updates and I'm here in Peshawar.
Gilgit-Baltistan and Chitral are absolutely safe, avoid the tribal areas of north western Pakistan.
If you plan to go to Chitral then you could make it from Peshawar and there are flights to Chitral from Islamabad and Peshawar airports.
I wish you all the luck,
