The inhabitants of Hunza are poor people. If you r bargaining for animal or birds and you have set price for it then after this if you don't buy it.the honour of the animal will force you to buy it because it is thought to be un luckey to bring the aminal back at home if the customer has set its price.
so don't bargain for fun if in u r not serious about buying animal and birds.

Play some volleyball

I started by playing a soccer type game with some local kids (kick the ball over the wall), but was then invited to join a volleyball game.
The court was in an emptied reservoir, which provided great walls.
In the summer when the snow melts the reservoir fills up (and you can apparently swim in it).

Muharram Ashura

Bismillah

Muharram Ashura is celebrated (or mourned) because of the martyrdom of Hazrat Hussain, grandson of Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him). The Shiites are a bit more emotional on this occasion because they have some closer relation or something like that. They hit themselves with chains full of knives and it can get real bloody (though no one gets killed). Its mourned on the 9th and 10th of the month of Muharram which keeps changing in the solar calendar so ask the people. It is celebrated a slot in Nagar and Skardu but not so much in Sunni-dominated Gilgit and Ismaili Hunza.

Let's take this slowly now

This is my travel friend Dave getting a shave after 6 weeks traveling.
Beware of unclean places (you don't want to get hepatitis!)
Otherwise it's a cheap thrill (20 rupees = 30 US cents)
