Its pretty much Jeeps or walking when you get to Hushe, the Jeeps roads are formidable but the skill of their drivers makes up for it. The road from Hushe to Skardu is sealed for parts and is a better road than the Skardu-Askoli road (see my Skardu travelogues) which has some crazy parts to it!
