 PIA'sBoeing 747-300 air craft by najamrulz Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) operates flights from many countries all over the world for Islamabad. There are also comprehensive network of domestic routes which connect Islamabad with rest of the country. PIA had bad service standards in past but now situation is improving rapidly as the special focus has been given to customer satisfaction. Airline operates three classes in its flights. These are Business class, Economy plus and Economy class. PIA's fleet has also been upgraded to provide more comfortable service to customers. Eight Boeing 777 would be included in PIA fleet by 2008. Three of these Boeing 777aircrafts have already joined PIA fleet. You can enjoy comprehensive audio, video programs, SMS, E-mail, Telephone and Fax facility on Boeing 777 by flying on international sector. In flight duty shop service is also available. At the moment PIA has total 48 aircraft including Boeing 777, Boeing 747 , Being 737, Airbus 310, Airbus 300, Fokker 27 and Twin Otters. PIA plans to sell its Fokker 27 aircraft and introduce new comfortable aircrafts shortly. Return air fare for KHI - ISB - KHI are as follows. Business Class: Rs. 21, 680 ( $ 375 appox ), Economy Plus Class : Rs. 12, 680 ( $ 220 appox) and Economy Class : Rs. 10, 380 ( $ 180 appox ). PIA offer Economy Plus and Economy class on LHE - ISB - LHE route. Return air fare are Rs. 5,200 ( $ 90 appox ) and Rs. 4,680 ( $ 80 appox ) respectively. PIA has comprehensive network of flights from all over the world. Students, senior citizens and families are given special discounts on domestic / international traveling. PIA has recently also started flights for Kashmir. It operates regular 40 minute flights on Islamabad- Muzafarabad and Islamabad-Rawalakot sectors.  Aero Asia's aircraft by najamrulz Aero Asia International is Pakistan's private low fare airline with Boeing 737 and DC9 aircrafts .It operates on selected domestic and international routes. It is ISO 9000 certified airline.It operates two daiily flights on Islamabad- Karachi-Islamabad route. On International routes it operates in Middle East with Abudhabi, Dubai and Muscat as main destinations. On Boeing 737 aircrafts , Club class is also offered with personalized service by foregin crew members, entertainment, magazines, exclusive menu, unlimited soft drinks, gifts along with pick and drop facilities on luxury cars are few of exclusive features offered to Club Class passengers both on domestic and international routes. Club Class passengers are welcomed at exclusive CIP Lounges at airports where they are offered unlimited comlimentary drinks and buffet items. Food in Economy class is delicious and well cooked. Service is also not bad. The Economy class return fare for KHI - ISB - KHI is Rs. 7,960 ( $ 137 appox) . Aero Asia is also operating night coach on Islamabad-Karachi sector three nights a week. It has impressive network on domesic flights all over country as well. Its a three star airline, not so impressive, but still not a bad deal if you get cheaper ticket. PIA is trying to improve services and replacing fleet focusing on customer satisfaction. The airline offer three classes Business class, Economy plus and Economy class. Eight Boeing 777 would be included in PIA fleet by 2008. Three of these are already operating now offering audio n video programs, SMS, E-mail, Telephone n fax facility. Remaing fleet consists of Boeing 747 , Boeing 737, Airbus 310, Fokker 27 and Twin Otters. Fokkers are to be replaced very soon with some comfortable aircrafts. Online ticketing facility is available for domestic routes now, it would also be started for international sector soon. Special discounts are offered to students, senior citizens and families traveling together. PIA has recently started 90 minute "Air Safari" flight to and along the Karakorams. This is some thing you should not miss. Northern areas of Skardu, Gilgit, Chitral and Swat are also served by PIA but all these flights are subject to clear weather. Flights to Muzafarabad and Rawalakot in Kashmir were also started but after October 8 earthquake they have been stopped now for some time because both airports have been badly damaged. Air Blue is the youngest one with the best services ( even better then PIA ). Air Blue operates new Air Bus 320 fleet and flies to Dubai, Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore, Faisalabad, Quetta and Peshawar in two classes. Delicious five star meals are offered on all flights. Soon its going to start flights for UK on brand new Air Bus 330 air crafts. Only online ticketing is possible and great discounts available if booked earlier. Website : http://www.airblue.com Aero Asia operating old Boeing 737 fleet offers two classes and flies to Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Faisalabad, Multan and Peshawar. It also flies to Qatar, Oman and U.A.E ( Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Al Ain). Both services and meals are poor. Online ticketing is offered and discouts offered on many flights if booked earlier. Its the only low fare airline not operating on Islamabad - Karachi sector.
