Enjoying the view...

When hiking in the hills I usually come across villagers carrying wood on their backs, goats and so forth. But rarely do I come across water buffalos all the way up here! This guy is checking out the view of Islamabad :)

Each morning a group of us hikes up Trail 3 of the Margallah Hills, also known as the foothills of the Himalayas. We usually take the fire trail straight up and this is the view from the top (or as far as up we can get in the morning before having to go to work) Sometimes it's so clear you can see the snow-capped Kashmiri mountains, if you're lucky!

Beautiful Sunset behind Margalla Hills, Islamabad

Hhmmmmmm.... If you have seen t he whole Islamabad which is not a big city at all. Its nearly the size of Dubai in UAE. Whenever you are feeling bored just wear your most comfortable sneakers and go for hiking on proper hiking track of Margalla Hills. The scenary and the atmophere is simply superb. Very peaceful and calm. You will surely like it. But make sure that you come back in the day light because it can become difficult coming down the hill when there is no light.
