China town is one of the best Chinese restaurants in Islamabad. Their food is very good. If all goes well, China Town probably offers the best Chinese cooking in Islamabad.
Those who want to avoid the dingy surroundings, the cockroaches, and the risk of somewhat bad service, China Town makes a sensible and delicious alternative.
Firstly you are offered complimentary peanuts starter. Soups are really good especially Thai soup, you must try it. Chow mien is really nice option.

Civil Junction is a great addition to Isloo's popular food spots. It is located in Sector F-7/3's famous Gol Market.
This is the place which offer you real good coffee and drinks of exclusive variety. Light snacks are also offered and they are really too good. Prices are very reasonable and service n food is excellent. Their menu card is itself a piece of art and you would not stop your smile while having a look at items being offered. You may enjoy Musharaf's Expresso ,Vajpai's Cappuccino or other such items.
Every Saturday night a local band Corduroy also performs for enjoyment of guests in up stair's mini hall. In just Rs. 100 you can enjoy a cup of coffee with snacks. Interior of Civil Junction is superb and it shows the good taste of its owners.
This is the place which is on most peace ful corner of Islamabad and I also prefer enjoying my time there with friends because of its nice atmosphere. By the way, this place is nice for dates too ;-)

The best ice cream parlor of Isloo is none other then Hot Spot. It is the HardRock Cafe styled ice-cream parlor in Gol Market near Jinnah Super. The somewhat eccentric setting, dominated by posters from horror films, adds to the atmosphere.
The inspiration for Hot Spot appears to have been drawn from a diverse range. It looks like European , Italy and American-style theme restaurants.
The Hot Spot started off as a tiny venture from the owner's (who are brothers) home in Islamabad. The rich, thick product churned out by hand in their immaculately clean kitchen, and sold from besides their front lawn, swiftly won approval from ice cream lovers of twin cities and brought to the capital some much needed culinary distinction.
Hot Spot has expanded rapidly. It is superbly done up parlour in Islamabad shifted now from its original location within an abandoned train carriage, offers both indoor and outdoor seating. It has also become a hot hangout for youngsters for dates. Although the ice cream is expensive but the quality and atmosphere is superb. No doubt it is a great evening spot to hit after dinner.
Flavours range from the excellent vanilla and chocolate ice creams, to dark chocolate chips, Oreo cookies and other candy bar combinations. There is also a range of waffles, pancakes, chocolate chip cookies, and other delicacies to try out. Their coffee and chocolate brownies are great. Jahangir's is one of the most popular desi restaurants chain in twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
Jahangir started its business with a single restaurant in Saddar, Rawalpindi. Due to its delicious desi items and Barbecue it got lots of appreciation from food lovers. So first restaurant was opened in Blue Area Islamabad. Now you can find Jahangir Resturants in Blue Area, F-10 Market and Melody food park.
If you are visiting Islamabad and you have not yet visited Jahangir's then you are really missing some worth eating food. So treat yourself with delicious desi food and enjoy your stay in Isloo.

Mezzo is another popular restaurant of Islamabad serving Continental, Thai and Pakistani food. Their food is really too good and price range per head is around Rs. 400 ($ 7 appox).
The starters and soups at Mezzo are probably the highlight of the meal. The cooking is authentic. In other words there is an absence of the usual 'garam masala and red chilli powder' which laces almost all continental cuisine in twin cities.
The Continental dishes are generally well prepared and presented. But the fish dishes are particularly good.
It is best to avoid the vegetables served with the main course since they are generally an unimaginative and unattractive mess consisting of over-boiled carrots, a stodgy roast potato and a few untidy broccoli florets.
Mezzo also has a pleasant interior innovatively done up in an Egyptian motif. While there is absolutely no connection between the décor and the cuisine it does make for a pleasant environment.
The service at Mezzo's is also unusually polite, with the staff always willing to make an extra effort to 'personalise' the dishes for regulars. All in all, Mezzo is a classy affair and as such be prepared to shell out Rs.400 per head.
Mezzo has recently been relaunched in new location with the name of Mezzo Plus. But the food is as delicious as it was before and service is nice too.
Fish dishes are particularly good. Thai grilled sole in coriander sauce and fried fish with tartar sauce is also surprisingly good.

Melody Food Park is great addition in Islamabad and hundreds of people come here to enjoy food. Quality of food is good and service is just okay.
It is not a very high profile place to eat. But if you are looking for budget restaurant then you must go to Meldoy Food Park where there are around 25-30 different restaurants serving food dishes of your choice. In Rs. 100-150 you can enjoy really good desi food at Melody Food Park. So do try Isloo's this new speciality soon!!

Kitchen Cuisine is very famous name in Isloo for cakes and other bakery products. This is an expensive bakery but their food is so delicious that you just get addicted to them. Simply fresh and delicious!
