The restaurant is now in a commercial building located in Najam Market, Street 55, F 8/4, Islamabad. New Management but same chefs. Website is www.chinatown.pk and contact is 0512855650. The menu includes the old dishes as well as new ones. What makes CT special is delicious food served in a beautiful ambiance and priced for value.
Featured as one of the coolest places in Interior and Architectural Magazines, there are 3 floors with live cooking on the covered rooftop. Lunch is Ala Carte as well as Buffet. It is different as it is not a typical Chinese place with traditional lights hanging from the roof.
Menu includes Dim Sum, soups, fire pot, chicken, beef and fish dishes.
Favorite Dish: Traditional Fire Pot made fresh on the table from charcoal is the best in the country. No comparison. Newer dishes are Sichuan Soup, Glazed Chicken Manchurian, Sichuan Dry Fish. Old classics are Kung Pao Chicken, Dry Chicken Chili, Dry Beef Chili.

Bonjour from Peshawar,
There was a Chinese restaurant in F 7/2, named as China Town, that was shifted to F 8 now but China market, no idea.
If the Chinese engineers and wrokers have set-up something new there, that could be a possibilty in F 6.
Ciao,
Imran Schah

The food is usually very good, the accent being on fresh, clean flavours. The meal begins with a fiery peanut starter - peanuts are marinated in a combination of flaked red chillies and chilli oil - which is extremely delicious. For those who are not chilli addicts, thin slices of pickled cucumbers and carrots are also served complementarily. The Thai soup is an excellent way to start the meal - especially if the staff are reminded not to forget the crispy fried rice that goes at the bottom.
If you're feeling somewhat extravagant, the Peking duck is also highly recommended, complete with a fresh plum sauce, steamed pancakes, and sliced celery and cucumbers, to wrap into a delicious concoction.
If all goes well, China Town probably offers the best Chinese cooking in Islamabad.

China town is one of the best Chinese restaurants in Islamabad. Their food is very good. If all goes well, China Town probably offers the best Chinese cooking in Islamabad.
Those who want to avoid the dingy surroundings, the cockroaches, and the risk of somewhat bad service, China Town makes a sensible and delicious alternative.
Favorite Dish: Firstly you are offered complimentary peanuts starter. Soups are really good especially Thai soup, you must try it. Chow mien is really nice option.
In general prefer not to order for 'tomato ketchup' dishes. Garlic sizzling chicken is not as good as it sounds from its name.
