Islamabad Zoo is siturated at the base of Margall Hills. Way to Daman-e-Koh & Pir Sohawa just passes the zoo. It is located near Children Play Land.

In this zoo you can see Elephants, Leopards, beer, deers, Peacocks & many other birds & animals. Zoo is small but animals are nicely kept in fresh & clean environment.

Here you can enjoy a great view of Margall Hills. This is a good place for children amusement.

The Islamabad Zoo was a pleasant surprise as it is a great place to relax and get away from the chaos of the subcontinent. The entire area is really clean and it is cute watching families eat ice cream and get excited over the animals. The zoo has cougars, Elephants and a wide variety of birds. You will probably be asked for a photograph by local families but this just adds to the fun atmosphere. It was a great experience. Oh yeah try the ice creams out front of the zoo for 10 rupees they are delicious!!

Near the children's adventure playground is Islamabad Zoo, with a small and inadequately cared for collection of animals, including monkeys, a bear, some birds & deer. Another enclosure with native deeris near Shahfaisal Mosque in the central strip of Faisal Road & there is an aviary near zero point....
