The Islamabad Zoo was a pleasant surprise as it is a great place to relax and get away from the chaos of the subcontinent. The entire area is really clean and it is cute watching families eat ice cream and get excited over the animals. The zoo has cougars, Elephants and a wide variety of birds. You will probably be asked for a photograph by local families but this just adds to the fun atmosphere. It was a great experience.
