Normally speaking, seeing a quaint lotus lake with flowers and fauna surronding would be a pleasant experience - but not in June. I was at the lotus lake, pic will be posted, and the thing was dried up. A few cranes were searching for a few drops of water and a frog was struggling in the mud. Perhaps its best to avoid Lotus Lake and the entire park until after the rains.
