Trekking Boots, Chitral

Luggage and bags: Soft bags which can take the rigors of jeep travel ( if you are on a jeep safari) or the backs of hores and porters ( if you are trekking)

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: For treks bring both extremes of weather. The sun is hot during the day and yet when you are in tents at night the temp can go down to 8C in July ( especially on nights when you are crossing high passes) Bring a worn-in pair of trekking boots . The temptation to walk in the unspoilt valleys is too great to resist even if this was not part of your initial plan

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Sunblock sream is a must.

Photo Equipment: Most Camera batteries are not available in Chitral

Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: Ruck Sack if you have come for trekking

Miscellaneous: There is only one hotel which will accept credit cards. Travellers cheque can be exchanged in banks. Cash US dollars are accepted everywhere.
