What to buy: Main Shahi Bazaar in Chitral town is famous for its Chitrali caps, waist coats, Coats of local woven cloth & embroidered shawls.
Numerous shops are located there where the above mentioned items are available at very reasonable prices.
Apparently Chitral is the region which is abundant in fruits like apricots, apples, pears, peach, grapes, mulberry etc. therefore there are dry fruit shops where dry fruits not only from Chitral but from other parts of Pakistan is also available.
Due to unique location of Chitral, in the olden days, a passage of caravans, and even nowadays people from different parts of Afghanistan come here with Rugs, Carpets, Gem stones and Jewellery so the some shops also offer Gem stones from Chitral as well as Afghanistan.

What to pay: Prices're reasonable.

The kalasha houses have their costumes for sale. The costumes can also be bought from shops but it is good to buy them from the Kalash so that the money goes directly to the Kalash.

What to buy: There are belts, clothes and hats for sale. Other than those there are hand bags and friendship bands.
