Trekking in the lap of Terichmir

Chitral, basically a trekking centre nerve where ever one moves it offers some trekking itinerary whether under the Quercus Elux and pine trees or over the challenging crevasses of immense glaciers.
So here is an itinerary which would lead you to the famous and challenging Hindukush range in the north.

Terichmir, 7778 m, the highest peak in Hindukush, could be approached from 2
    directions by climbers and trekkers.
The most beautiful approach is from Kiyar village, at the distance of 3 hrs from
Chitral town, through challenging Owir An (4600 m).
    The itinerary as follows
Day 1: Jeep Drive from Chitral town, 3 hrs, overnight camping at Kiyar,
Day 2: Trek across Owir Pass (4600 m), 8 to 10 hrs, Camping at Golghari,
Day 3: Trek to Barum village, 4 hrs, Camping overnight,
Day 4: Trek to Terichmir Base camp, 3600m ,5 to 7 hrs,
Day 5: Trek to Ochanjogh over north Barum Glacier, overnight camping,
Day 6: Back to Barum village,
Day 7: Jeep drive back to Chitral or vice versa,
It is one of the best itineraries in the area, and the base camp is surrounded by a ring
    of mountains and Glaciers.
Please keep in your mind that you’d need porters, guide and a cook over the trek.
