Dhakki Dates of Dera Ismail Khan are very famous due to their extra ordinary large size and sweetness. Dhakki is a small village on Chashma Road about 40 km from Dera City. These dates originated from Dhakki but now they grow in other villages and towns too.
These dates are different from others because they don't ripe on the plant. They are picked before maturity and then ripen in Sun Light using a very typical method. Size of date plant is not so much high but stem is thiker than normal plants. One date contains very much energy and nutrition.
So you must try Dhakki dates if you are in or around Dera.

High above the mighty River Indus, on hills commonly called the Salt Range, stand important remains of forts with citadels and temples. Built from the 6th to the 11th centuries AD. Kafirkot Temples represent the earliest experiments in this region with the developing Nagara formula.
There is a story in history about Bilot Forte. It is said that there were two brothrs Bill & Till. Who became agaist each other. Bill was rightious and he made this forte, faught with his evil brother and won.
This is a charm for lovers of historical places.
