Whenever you are in a Masjid (Mosque) and would like to say prayer. Keep the shoes at a safer place because its very common that some naughty fellows may hide your shoes or may steal them ;-) so, just be careful. ;-)

Although I've been seeing this all over Pakistan, this hole in the Street somehow seemed to be a nice example of a big danger when walking around. It was depressing a week before when I saw a man slip into something comperable to this, and banged his head as well. (update: i just fell into an open manhole in Kashgar, China. i'm okay, but beware in developing countries!)

I was just in Mardan for one night, but had a nice experience with the people and the food for sure. There is a nice dish with chicken and tomatoes and vegies that seemed common and was a nice change...
