Well the only thing that worries me is that will you guys survive the weather in Nov. as I went there in July few years back and weather was very pleasant specially for the Karachites. Anyway we were 17 people including kids and I went there through Karakoram Express to Lahore and than we took a 15 seater van from the lari adda and left at 12 o'clock through gt road we reached pindi in 6 hours if you take motor way it will be 4.5 hours and we reached Abbottabad at 9:30 night .We spend the night there near the lari adda at a cheep hotel and than took a van from Abbatabad as it is much cheeper than the Lahore van so make sure that you just book a van from Lahore to drop you till Abbotabad and from there you can take a non ac van as from there the it not required and I will suggest you to bargain from the van drivers for per day package in which you have to pay for diesel and tool taxes will be yours plus per day charges in this way you can keep the transport through out your journey. Remember if you are putting your bags on the roof of your transport do put a plastic rapping on it as rains comes without any intimation. Happy travels do ask me if you have other queries.

Halfway up the Kaghan Valley is the village of Naran where there are many hotels and traditional resturants with beautiful views of surronding mountains.Here you'll depart from the river Kunhar and on both sides of road there are vast fields.Don't look here and there the melody you are hearing is provided by the river Kunhar who is with you on same level.If you like fishing get your fishing license we have trout and mahasheer for you fishing here for tourist is must. At one side of the river is a small cave in the side of an enormous boulder wall. The is a legend about this cave and is tied to the legends of Prince Saif-ul-Maluk and the fairy from the lake in the mountains above Naran.
A few vendors set up their stalls across the street of main Naran town. Evening walk along this street is unforgetable. At that time everybody is out of their hotels and preparing themselves for shopping and socialising. Naran also serves as the base for the whole valley. From here you can ride a jeep or horse or hike in excursions to several picturesque lakes, valleys and peaks.

There are many beautiful water falls in 155 KM long Kaghan Valley. Park your car and drink the fresh spring water and hey don't forget to take the photos!

If one is going to Naran, he/she must see Shugran,Siri,Payay and in Naran one must visit Lake Saif-ul-Malook and LalaZar etc.
