In Nathia Gali Bazaar or right next to Green's Hotel there are several horses which are available for riding with guides. Don't worry if you havent ever ridden a horse before. They are pretty safe and intelligent. The horses are on the ride side of the road (if entering Green's Hotel from Nathia Gali and if its not raining). The ride is fantastic taking you through the steep road and beautiful places. Don't worry if a car is coming in your direction. The horse and the car will avoid each other. The horse ride gives a very wonderful view of the Governor's House as seen in the picture. Horse rides can also be taken to Mukhshpuri Top or Miran Jani Top. The horse ride is absolutely refreshing especially in the morning.

If you are a good hiker then you may plan to climb the highest peak of the area. Miranjani peak is around 10,000 above sea level. One clear day you can also see Nanga Parbat - the killer mountain as well as snow covered peaks of Kashmir.
Its tough hike and you need to bring water and food along with you. Make sure to have rain coat and umbrella with you to save yourself from rain on the way.
It would take you 4-5 hours one way. Leave Nathia gali early morning for this track. From Miranjani you should leave back before afternoon as its not safe afterwards. This area has many wild animals including lion. So be careful.

If you have to walk all the way in Nathia Gali then it could be a pretty tough job as road is very steep and u gotta be tired soon. So use the short ways, many of them are defined. Ask the locals and they would help you.
One of well known and proper short way starts on your right when you take the road going up from main bazar. You would see many stairs just climb them and you would be in Children's park. Now you would see more stairs, climb them and you would be on main road. Just walk for two minutes towards left and you would be at Church. If you walk towards right then you would be going towards Nathia Gali Club then Shingrilla Hotel n further Mukhspuri track.
