Usually the best season to visit miranjani is august n september mostly for hiking but we have experianced to get there in winters in the month of january with a heavy snow. the experianced was amazing one n we have stayed there for a night in our tent.
as i have experianced this journey to the miranjani in winters so i want to recommend some of the things to take care about n to remember to be with u.
1_ if u plan to stay for a night then a tent is must.
2_ sleeping bags with temperature ratings below to -5c is a good choice.
3_ waterproof shoes of enough hieght.
4_ ready made cooked meal, gas stove for food n for heating the tent during the night time due to temperature fall below to -6c to -7c degrees.
5_ knife, n other cooking n cutting acessories.

Miran Jani is the highest point in the Galliat Range at about 2867 m. It is a very scenic trek to Miran Jani Top which offers wonderful views of the pine forests and hills surrounding the region. The trail to Miran Jani is just behind the Governor's House. You can book horses from Nathia Gali if you dont want to go there by foot.
