	Shall We Run in Our Burqas?

A lot of people in Peshawar are strangers when it comes to exercising. However, for the few that I applaud for getting out there, there is Garrison Park to visit. It's an army-run park with security and is basically a dirt track in a large field that people use for running or walking on.

Now it's one thing to run in a burqa, but ladies - there IS a way to do it Islamically without compromising comfort and coverage. A loosefitting track suit or sweat pants and long-sleeved top can be purchased in Saddar Bazaar for a good price, and a simple hijab over the head is sufficient. Running shoes are a must, and can be purchased also in Saddar Bazaar in chain-stores like Bata, Servis, Borjan.
