All around Pakistan you will see t colorful and decorated buses. The trucks are an expression of the man and his artistic abilities but often times the owner of the truck words hand in hand working with a local artist to make his truck looks as unique as possible. The artists pain the trucks with thousands of different kinds of designs ranging from birds to Islamic writing to animals and people. Peshawar has some great trucks and if you go to the edge of town you can watch the artists do their thing, they will even pose in photographs because they are proud of their creations.

The truck drivers are so proud of their decorated trucks, they do look spectacular. They often stopped to have their photo taken, sometimes I had to pretend to take yet another one, just so that they would know I thought theirs was extra good. There is even a decorated tractor coming up behind the trucks.

These truckies were parked at a 'truck stop' beside our hotel. They were keen to talk, and show us inside their truck.
