Most of the people in Pakistan know hasan abdal for it's famous and Pakistan's first cedit college. And it is unfortunate that people other than sikh are not aware of the beauty of the gurdawara called Panja sahab. For Sikhs, Hasan Abdal has special significance — and a special place in their hearts. It houses the imprint of the hand or panja believed to be that of Guru Nanak, the founder of the Sikh religion. This makes Panja Sahib one of the three holiest shrines of Sikh religion — the other two being the Golden Temple in Amritsar, India and Nankana Sahib in Sheikhupura, Pakistan.this town is located near GT road and 55 km away from rawalpindi. The beauty of gurdawara so amazing i will again visit this place and gurdaware for sure.here is a huge stone with mark of the hand of guru Nanak.the stone was thought to be stoped by guru Nanak by his hand which left the mark of his hand on the stone.
THE MOST IMPORTANT THING:
Apart from the interusting things about gurdawara there r a few thing that a tourist must must follow one is that u should have a sikh friend to help u in.locals will not help u in anyway(it x sad).the goverment of Pakistan has appointed a guard who would not let u enter it if u r non sik or if no sikh to trust u or if u don't have permission.Student card would also not help u. also u can shoot the guar to enter otherwise no chance u can enter it...lox
secondly u SHOULD BE in anyway in the local dress or costume coz what i have found is that sadly the locals r not used to about anyone coming to this place for just visiting purpose and that even not on the anual-festival of sikh religion called Baisakhi festival.

It is tomb attributed to Hakim Abaul Fateh Gilani and Hakim Hamam. These two Hakim had a very prominent position in the court of Emperor Akbar. The Mausoleum along with water tank in 1589 A.D by Khawaja Shamus Din Khawafi governor of Punjab.origianily 4 himself(which now more look like a pond coz of carelessness of government of Pakistan).one water thank is also located outside the tomb of almost the same structure. The two venerated brothers were buried here by the orders of emperor. There r some fishes in the tanks now.
The town has alot to offer to the tourist it is very vry beautiful and unforgetable experience.
