Khyber Favorites

Favorite thing: Touring around the Khyber Pass and Peshawar is without question a highlight of Pakistan but if you feel overwhelmed which most travellers will, you should hire a tour guide to take you around the city of Peshawar for your first day so you can get a feel for the place. You may feel comfortable after you notice with your guide that for the most part the locals are curious to why you are in the city that is so close to Afghanistan especially since the US and Pakistani government are bombing villages only 50km away. A guided tour for a day is a great option and it is cheap. It will make you feel comfortable.The Khyber experience was one of the most incredible, intense and memorable moments of my travelling career thus far. Just take the proper steps to enjoy your adventure!
