I was really shocked when the exchange dealer gave me deteriorated and dirty bills. I really thought that I could not use the money they changed but guess what...those tear & wear bills were acceptable anywhere....it seems that nobody knows how to handle with care this money!!! Poor rupees...
There are many money exchangers but there are a few areas where u will not able to find any money exchanger. Even if u find anyone it will be of no use and the rate they will be giving will not be a good one.
Fondest memory: I always go to this MALIK MONEY EXCHANGER in Gulberg, Center Point. They give resonably good rate. If you can bargain a bit then u should bargain here as well. They might give you better rate if u are exchange more than 100 US$ or Euros.
Asma money exchanger is the good one in Central Lahore region. This money exchanger can be accessed from the Lahore Railway station in 15 mins by Ricshaw or Taxi. It is right there on the Mall Road, which is the most famous and important road of lahore. Everyone knows Mall Road. The other name of mall road is Shahra-e-Quaid-e-Azam (The street of the great leader).
Fondest memory: There are 2 more exchanger close by to Asma Money exchangers.
Bonjour from Peshawar,
