Favorite thing: As someone said before, dont miss visiting a day (or in ideal all 3 days) of wedding ceremony.
It is awesome. It will stay in your memory as the most coloured and amazing thing. Women in coloured shalwar kamizes, killogramms of gold and sari (very rare), men in kurtas (maybe mistaken with a name), and ofcourse the most amazing is a bride in yellow (for Mehndi ceremony) or red (maroon) or green dress, called lenga kurti (long skirt with small shirt), featured with gold all over a head, face, chest and hands.

Favorite thing: I think it depends from Person to Person. Like, if u like old buildings and Forts. then you MUST visit the Lahore Fort (Castle) which was built by Mughal Emperors nearly 500 yrs old.
If are interested in some Cultural activities then you must see 'National Industrial Exhibision' in Fortress Stadium. In this Exibision crafts men bring their goods from all over Punjab which is the largest and most famous province of Pakistan.
After all this trip if u are looking for a nice resturant which is famous for its Pakistani food then you MUST go to 'Village Resturant' in the most posh areas of Lahore - Gulberg. This Resturant is famous for its pure Pakistani Environment and good quality of good. Alongwith this resturant there are otehr resturants as well and you get a variety of food depending upon your choice. I would surely add the pictures laters.
Fondest memory: I live in Lahore and I love this city. There is a famous saying in Pakistan in local language ' Urdu' which goes like this: 'If someone has not seen Lahore, it means he has not born yet'.
This City is full of everything!!! Love, History, Culture, Beauty and Loving, Sincere, Energetic People. But you have to come by yourself and experience the Charisma of this old historical city. Its Red Light Area is famous from ages of Mughal Emprors. I would simply say that its amazing.

Favorite thing: The women observe strict purdah (seclusion of women) and are rarely seen outside their homes. However, in the more heavily populated provinces of Sindh and Punjab, which account for well over half of Pakistan's population, women have relatively greater social mobility and have increased access to education and health care.
Check my travelogue for a summary of a report on Violence Against Women in Pakistan.

Favorite thing: 75 percent of Pakistan's female population is rural, and the average Pakistani woman is beset with the crippling handicaps of illiteracy, constant motherhood and poor health. In the less populated frontier provinces to Afghanistan, life for women is very restricted, and women are expected to comply with tribal beliefs and traditions. Any woman who deviates from these traditions, such as being seen with a man to whom she is not related or married, can suffer severe penalties, including death.

Favorite thing: In 1999, in the wake of the military takeover in Pakistan, Human Rights Watch released a report on the state of women's rights in Pakistan. The report 'Crime or Custom? Violence Against Women in Pakistan' documents crimes of violence against women, including domestic violence rates as high as 90 percent, at least eight reported rapes every 24 hours nationwide, and an alarming rise in so-called honor killings. Women's low social status and a long established pattern of active suppression of women's rights by successive governments has contributed to the escalation in violence in Pakistan.
