Swimming, Lahore

A hot summer & you are wetting youself in cool, cold & fresh waters of a swimming pool there is no other great feeling than that if you are on your summer holidays.. In Lahore you will see all the young generation gathering them self around the bank of the famous Lahore canal waiting for a dive....A great experience of an outdoor bath but with great dangers
1: the water is very dirty...
2: I saw some kids doing "vee" to add their bit in already dirty waters.
3: Some people are jumping in with their cows & calfs as well.
Despite all this there are many swimming pools in the city. The famous for all the students is at Allama Iqbal University where there is always a great hustle & bustle of young students aroun the pool. There are also swimming pools in well known hotels like Avari & Holiday Inn......
