If you would like to visit “garden of the gardens” or want to enjoy the most pleasant walk in Lahore, then go to historical park “Jinnah Garden”. Established in 1862 over a large area of 140 acres. At that time thousands of saplings of hundreds of different species from every corner of the world were brought here. The very first tree was planted by the daughter of the commissioner of Lahore during January of 1862.
There are several entertainment and sports facilities within the garden that comprise of an open-air theatre, a restaurant, tennis courts and kids play land. But the pride of the entire garden is the cricket ground, Mughal garden and Gulshen Fatima. There is also a mosque and a huge library there.
A must visit place in Lahore.
