If you have a smart phone avoid using it in public or if you do so do in a covert manner. Thieves operate on motorbikes and will snatch your phone before you know whats happening. I took to carrying 2 phones for just this scenario to minimise the risk. Although most people carry mobiles here smart phones are just as much in demand here as they are in the west and thieves will do their best to get their hands on yours.

Pick Pocketers are common in Lahore specially around Railway Station area. So please take care of your wallets, purses & other handy items.
It is also advised that do not ask the way form Rickshaw/Taxi drivers. They sometimes misguide you. They take too much for Even a shot distance location.

Plz read this carefully & don't ignore this that you must take a good care of ur pockets while you are busy doing ur happily bargained shopping in the hustly & bustly bazaars of Lahore. The money that u saved from bargaining would be lost in few seconds if a highly trained pickpocket gets his hands around it because the guy who got his hands around mine must have done P.h.D in art of pickpocketing ....just one push & all the smiles on my face were gone" so plz be careful....

Like any big city, pick pocketers are on the move in Lahore as well. Mostly they prey in vans, buses and where it is crowded. Just be careful with your valuables.
